Love Over Gold Website

A website for a new novel about the incredible true story of courage beyond the Iron Curtain. Existing Pedleyonline customer John approached Pedleyonline for help with creating a new website for a creative project, Love Over Gold.

Love Over Gold is the first novel for John G Markowski & Gavin W J Youngand, and is available to buy online on Amazon. This microsite was developed in WordPress and is a brochure site to promote the new book. In addition to working on the new website, we also assisted with the book cover artwork.

The website features a responsive design and is mobile-friendly, including a Home page, About, The Book, Buy, and Contact pages.

The atmospheric background and themes complement the book artwork, and gold lettering and accent colours work well.

The site navigates and reads well, with the ‘About’ page introducing John and Gavin with photos, short bios and some history behind the writing of the book.

‘The Book’ provides a blurb about the book, the legacy of HMS Endinburgh and the quest for sunken treasure.

The Homepage features a full page copy of the book jacket with a link ‘Available to Buy Now on Amazon’ on the homepage and on all pages throughout the site.
