Happy Tan is a Tanning Salon with world-class, state-of-the-art tanning equipment. The Happy Tan salons are unique and beautifully designed with eight West Midlands locations, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Rubery, Maypole, Shrewsbury, Kingswinford, Castle Bromwich and Weoley Castle.
Happy Tan contacted Pedleyonline following an online search for a local, Bromsgrove based Web Designer. Happy Tan were using Facebook and Instagram to promote their business and were now ready to develop a website. We talked through their requirements, produced a website proposal, and provided costings and timescales for the website design and build. We were delighted when Happy Tan contacted us to ask us to work on their project.
The distinctive Happy Tan brand is used across all the tanning salon locations and also on the website. Each of the Happy Tan Salons has its own location page featuring images, address and contact information, opening times, details of the types of tanning equipment available, and links to the Happy Tan Facebook page for that location. Happy Tan is also using Instagram and links to both social media platforms are available on the website.
The new Happy Tan website has been designed using WordPress. It is a responsive website which means it can be accessed from tablets, mobile phones as well as a computer or laptop. The website is a brochure-style website with information about the services available from Happy Tan and their tanning salons. At the time of developing the website, Happy Tan had four tanning salons, but as the business has grown they have opened new tanning salons in four more locations, and the website was easily updated with new pages for the new salons.
The Happy Tan website is widescreen with a full-width changing image banner which presents dynamic content in the form of great images with overlaid graphics. The website is on-message and uses branding consistent with all of their salons and social media pages. Information on skin types, tanning products, and a selection of frequently asked questions are available on the website along with the benefits of vitamin D and tanning bed features.
Happy Tan customers enjoy their experience at Happy Tan’s salons using the world’s best tanning beds from MegaSun and Luxura. Happy Tan has received many Customer Reviews on its various Facebook pages and these have been incorporated on the Happy Tan website. They are glowing testimonials (excuse the pun!) for the tanning equipment and its results, the Happy Tan salon environment, and the friendly and highly trained staff.
