We recently designed and built a brand new website for Ryan at Damson Carpentry, a carpenter based in Solihull. This project came to us through a referral from an existing Pedleyonline customer – which is always a great compliment – and we created a clean, modern site that properly reflects the quality of their work.
Built on WordPress, the website gives Damson Carpentry a solid, flexible platform that’s easy to update and ready to grow with the business. We helped secure the right domain name, set them up with fast SSL-secure hosting, and carried out basic on-page optimisation targeting Solihull and the surrounding areas for the services they provide.
The site is structured to be clear and easy to navigate. There are six dedicated service pages, each focused on a specific area of carpentry, along with a portfolio section showcasing recent projects with strong imagery and descriptions. An About Us page helps tell Ryan’s story, while clear headings, straplines and calls to action keep everything on message.
We’ve included a secure online contact form, clickable phone numbers for mobile users, and direct links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. There’s also a dedicated reviews page with a simple “leave a review” button linking to Google, plus a scrolling logo marquee to display partner and supplier logos. Subtle animation and widescreen imagery give the site a polished feel without overcomplicating things.
The layout uses a clean horizontal navigation menu and an expandable structure, making it easy for visitors to find exactly what they’re looking for. And of course, the whole site is fully responsive, working smoothly across desktop, tablet and mobile.
