Communique Training Website

Communiqué Training provide professional training services to include topics such as Presentation Skills, Management and Personal Development and Fundraising Skills.

Although established since April 2000 they worked with us to create a fresh new dynamic logo for use on the website and other marketing materials.

The objective of the site was to introduce Communiqué, to promote their training services and the training courses they have available and to provide a downloadable printed resource for each course outlining the aims, objectives and duration of each course along with details of whom it might be suitable for.

The website is completely expandable and can be further developed over time and as required. It is also updatable by the customer themselves. Built using a content management system, WordPress, the business owner can make changes to text and images themselves without incurring any costs for website updates from their web designers (us!). A short training session is conducted as the site is made live and this is covered within the cost of the website build. Further training is available upon request and at reasonable rates. Training someone from a professional training company! Can you imagine how nervous we felt?

At our initial meeting we talked about website objectives, the pages required and the content that Communiqué wanted to include. We agreed an action plan and timescales. From this meeting a detailed web proposal was written up to include website scope and approximate costings.

The website text content was all provided by the website owner and we helped select a number of professional licensed stock images to portray the right image.

The website, though comprehensive in content and professional in image has fairly standard functionality. The onus was on providing information and being easy to navigate and read.

The website has been built using good on-page search engine optimisation techniques.

Home page with fading image banner, concise introduction text, horizontal navigation and contact information which is present and visible on all pages in the website banner.

Training Courses – These include Presentation Skills, Management and Personal Development Skills and Fundraising Skills with individual course titles linking to 15 further subpages which give a “taster” of the specific course. The individual course page provides an outline of the course, what it includes and who it may be suitable for and there’s a link to a downloadable pdf document with full course details. The pdf document can be replaced with updated versions as required by the website owner. Downloadable pdf documents suit this type of industry particularly well as clients often wish to print off materials to use as a reference. They also work across all mobile devices and tablets.

In-House Training is a simple information page promoting the delivery of training at the client’s own premises at a time to suit them. It also introduces the concept of tailor-made training courses to meet the client’s own requirements.

Client Testimonials features a selection of excerpts from the many letters of thanks and recommendation received by Communiqué Training many of which are from reputable and well known companies and organisations.

Offers, again an information page with links to training courses and the Contact Us page, what to do to obtain a quote and a small number of frequently asked questions. This page, along with all other pages has a clear call to action so visitors are inclined to make contact and buy.

Contact Us – a basic, secure online contact form with selected mandatory fields. The contact page also displays basic contact information such as telephone number, fax, email address.

Following completion of the website we proceeded to work with Communiqué to produce complementary marketing materials such as branded letterheads and business cards. All materials use the new Communiqué logo ensuring consistency and professionalism throughout.
