Web Design - Guide Prices / Costs 
Nobody likes nasty surprises when they receive their bill - With our websites you'll know exactly how much it's going to cost up front - there's no hidden extras. As a small business we understand the importance of getting work completed on time and on budget. The great thing about a website is it can grow over time and as your budget allows. A simple website can cost as little as £199 including your domain name and hosting. Below are some guide prices for our web hosting, domains and web design.

Before looking at the cost of the actual design and build of your website, there are three other factors you need to consider and below are a list of our current prices. These prices are based on customers requiring a website.
Domain Names
We can arrange the purchase of your domain name(s)
for example www.yourbusiness.co.uk
This includes setting up all the nameservers and online registration.
.co.uk domains are currently £10.00 for two years
.com domains are currently £15.00 for two years
renewing these after two years is currently the same price.
Pedleyonline Web Hosting
Web hosting is currently £30.00 a year (which works out at a very competitive £2.50 a month) this is paid up front for 12 months. Our web hosting price also includes your email and mail boxes. Be careful as some companies will charge extra for email services. The £30.00 is only billed when your site is complete and up and running and not during the design and developement of your website. You only start paying for hosting when you're using it!
Updates & Updating Your Website
Updates are charged at £20.00 an hour and by the minute, we don't have a minimum charge, so if you just want to update a phone number or change some text and images and it only takes 15 minutes we'll only charge for 15 mins. For example 15 minutes would cost £5.00. We'll always give you a price up front before going ahead with any updates. Sending us your images and text for updates via email or on disk all save time and will keep the cost down.
Larger updates we'll usually agree a set price rather than working on an hourly rate.
Web Design Prices - Design and Build
Every web project is different so these prices are really just a rough guide. Price will vary depending on the level of design required, do you need logos created?, lots of photo editing and bespoke graphics?, the number of pages?, complex page layouts and navigation?, site functionality?
If large amounts of scanning and entering of text is required this will also affect the price. As a general rule - the better prepared you are, eg. supplying text, graphics and images via email or on disk - the quicker the site build and the cheaper the price!
We will always take everything into consideration when quoting for the job, so you'll have a clear idea of the costs involved. Occasionaly prices will change but this is only when the client wishes to add additional content / functionality not previously discussed and as always we'll advise of costings before procceeding.

Web Design Prices - Search Engine Optimisation
All our pages include a degree of optimisation to ensure they are completely visible to search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. We'll also submit your site for free to these search engines when completed. SEO is part of every site we build and included in our price, we can't see the point of building a website without this. Watch out for web design companies that charge extra for this.
