Latest Update Take me to the top of the page!Email Amnesty and Pedley Beard Banned From Wedding!
PDF - Pedley Drafts FolderI always struggle with how to start the Blog, especially after a long gap - almost 5 months! (could I call this a Blog Holiday?) - I have the same problem with emails, I get the email and think, "I wont just send a short reply I'll sit down and write a good reply"..."give it some thought"..."this person deserves a good response". Pedley at 40A few days pass, suddenly the pressure is on - I've left it a while now, this reply better be good...they'll be expecting something pretty special. I'm not good under pressure, so back in the 'drafts folder' it goes...A week passes, and another - it's almost too late to reply - the window for a timely reply has passed. Not only have I failed to respond to the email of a friend, it appears I've snubbed them! - the total opposite of what I set out to do. If you're one of the 'would be' recipients of a reply from the Pedley drafts folder I apologise whole heartedly! - This also applies to Birthday and Christmas cards, phone calls, letters and text messages. Hopefully by waffling on about that, no one has noticed the rather rubbish start to the Blog! - So what's been happening at Pedley Towers? - Web and design work continues to dominate proceedings with several new sites coming online. First up is Birmingham based training company - the Total Learning Centre - www.totallearningcentre.co.uk and a new website for local Bromsgrove plumber (and our very own next door neighbour!) Redstone Plumbing and Heating - www.redstoneph.co.uk. Optimisation has been very much the order of the day with new micro sites created for Bromsgrove Home Improvements - bromsgrovebuilders.co.uk. This is where Lou normally gets bored reading the Blog - talking of boring (only joking) Lou has finally finished her first entry for Mrs Pedleyonline! - click here

Back already? - Other news, The Pedley Beard has been banned from my sister's wedding! (Fact : you can now Google Search the Pedley Beard!) - My own Mother described it as "horrible, grey and slightly ginger" - Lou will no doubt question how I know the Pedley Beard is on Google. Yes, I know I should be working but I just had to know.....Before I forget I just wanted to wish my Mum happy 60th!, which also means the Pedley 40th is on the way..... (right is an artists impression of Pedley at 40). Quick round up of outstanding email replies and messages - Robin, yes I will ring you! - David - the demo is fab - Andy - Illustration to follow soon, Mum - Will forward those photos, promise! - Best wishes from Bromsgrove Bx
19th Jan 2010 Take me to the top of the page!Pedley's Christmas Card Shame...but it's not all Lou's Fault
Keeleypops Xmas 2009It's blinking cold here at Pedley Towers, Lou has banned use of the central heating during working hours (eg. when she's not in the house!). Fortunately I have a small scented candle to keep me warm...but its not all bad as I peak out the window and watch Lou scraping the snow off her car before she embarks on her extended journey to work. And why is Husband Pedley not helping his wife? - because house husband Pedley is still in his jim jams! - Of course as I write the Blog I'm in full office dress (don't want to put any of you off your breakfast!) - and I mean dress as in clothing not as in lady's dress - I haven't quite got to the stage of dressing up in Lou's clothes while she's at work....well not that I'm going to admit to you Pedley Blog Watchers (Hi Steve, Jo and Ant - the only 3 officially signed up members!).
"So Where Are Our Christmas Cards Mr Pedley?" I hear you ask - Unfortunately it was Lou's fault these weren't sent in time...she only reminded me five times, if only she'd tried harder you'd have all got your cards! - It got so late that I thought it best not to send any, fearing you'd have thought I'd waited for the sales to get them cheaper...rest assured those bargain priced cards will be heading your way next year! - The Crisp Incident - Play It Now!As a special Christmas (or should that be New Year?) Treat I'm putting up the infamous and much talked about 'Crisp Incident' (left) - A film I took of my darling Louise a couple of years ago, sleeping on the sofa..and a crisp! - Also for you kitten fanciers (I know who you are) there's the lovely Keeleypops dressed as Santa (above) - Before I forget -
'I Hope Everyone Had A Lovely Christmas and Best of Luck for 2010! - Pedley Cheapskate!

Anyway! - that's enough about all that, what's Pedley been up to on the work front since November? - When I wasn't working on the Kids Army Shop sites I managed to complete a new illustration for the ever patient Mr A. Maddicott. I completed a big update and revamp of Mr Downes (AKA Dalek Dave's) web site - www.daviddownes.co.uk
(...is there a cheque in the post Mr Downes?)
The Pedley Christmas BeardNew websites in December included Bromsgrove based Frank Hedges Steel Limited - www.frankhedges.co.uk and just online this month, the home of the excellent leadworker Andrew Rose - www.leadspecialist.co.uk. January commences with the official launch of www.bromsgrovebusiness.co.uk - featuring the £99.00 Website! - a site dedicated to small businesses here in Bromsgrove - This time next year we'll be millionaires! - not likely at £99 a pop! - Also online there's the advert driven www.this-is-cool.co.uk a blog type website filled with all things Sci-Fi, Horror and Technology. With several new web and design projects commencing in January it looks like a nice busy start to the new year. Finally on a serious note, if we could have a few moments silence for the Pedley Christmas Beard which was sadly taken from us just before Xmas - pictured here in happier times (right)
2nd November 09 Take me to the top of the page!"Sorry Ladies, I'm Married" - Pedley Gets Hitched!
Hello from Bromsgrove and welcome to the Autumn Pedley Blog Update (Only 3 Months late!) - as the Pedley motto goes "Why do today, what can be done tomorrow" - Any potential new customers reading the blog, this applies to the blog and various domestic jobs / tasks around the house only. Paying customers come before everything!
Click Here for the Wedding Pics!
As some of you may know Lou and myself got married 2nd October, part of the wedding pact was to allow Lou to have her own blog titled 'Mrs pedleyonline' - I'm sure it will be filled with useful info (junk) like - coats for kittens, oven cleaning tips and a floor plan of Primark....It certainly wont be any substitute to the regularly updated Pedley Blog, full of useful information and witty banter.....oh dear - now begins the campaign 'Save the Pedley Blog!' - "I suppose a bit of healthy competition can't harm anybody".....said Mr Betamax Video Man (made that up, don't think that was his real name?). Recycle, Recycle, Recycle!Anyway! - watch this space for the mrspedleyonline blog coming soon. On a serious level I'd just like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to our wedding and for the lovely gifts - When we opened the cards it felt a bit like Schindler's List where the Nazis' are going through the suitcases collecting the valuables and discarding the cases. Lou added that we could shred the cards as we went along - I said this was wrong and going too far! - this is the sort of filth you can expect from her blog (Lou has just read this and said we needed to put something else or people would actually think we were shredding the cards!! - I am joking of course, but I can't seem to find any of them.....) - The wedding itself was absolutely fab, I cried and giggled like a girl, Lou looked wonderful and it was everything we'd hoped it would be. Click here to see the photos! (A special thank you to Mr Quail for the fantastic pictures!)New Look North Laine Brighton Website
It's been a mad couple of months for Pedleyonline juggling the wedding, being away for the honeymoon, new web projects and site updates. Pleased to report the new look North Laine website is now online after months and months of work - www.northlaine.co.uk. Also online this month is a new website for Balloon Box of Bromsgrove - www.balloonboxbromsgrove.co.uk. My initial design was a bit too risque - made them look more like a knocking shop rather than somewhere to buy Fancy Dress (click here to see the X-rated version!)  Visit - Balloon Box BromsgroveAlso online is a website for Brighton based musical entertainer Geoffrey James - geoffreyjames.co.uk.

Work continues on the huge Kids Army Shop website as we run up to Christmas. This site now has a huge gallery, online games, and deal of the week - check out www.kidsarmyshop.co.uk.  November looks set to be another big month with several new web projects commencing, including bromsgrovebusiness.co.uk and introducing the £99.00 website!  Patient Blog watcher Mr Burley has waited over 3 months to see some new kitten pictures. Sadly there's no new kitten pics this month but let's just say we have something special for next month's 'Xmas' blog update!  The Big news is Keeley has started using the garden instead of the cat tray - Good Girl Keeleypops! - I think that's all for now, Thanks again to everyone. Kindliest Regards Bx  P.S. The Pedley Beard is back!
10th July 2009 Take me to the top of the page!Bumper Blog Summer Update - "Its been a busy old month"
Latest Websites Added to the Web Design Portfolio
It's funny, I often start my blog with the line 'it's been a busy old month' - (I've just checked back and I don't think I've ever started a blog with that phrase...but I often mention I'm busy!) - It's a bit like when I'm suffering from a cold, and I claim I've got the flu - (Lou if you're reading this, it really is the flu and I'm much too poorly to help around the house) then you get the flu and you think - now that's a bad cold and maybe what I had before was a slight cough....what am I waffling on about? - Well it really has been a busy old month! - So busy infact that my poor old xbox and synthesizers haven't had a look in. This month's updates include a new website for Bromsgrove based - midlandspaintingcontractors.co.uk - my first site to include Google Adsense. Also up is a new site for Redditch based bathroom and kitchen installers, Newton Bathrooms - newtonbathrooms.co.uk and finally - bromsgrovehomeimprovements.co.uk (which may also win the award for the longest domain name ever!). Other work includes new design and print work for Kids Army Shop with a new logo and assorted flyers. Makeovers of existing sites - www. toy-guns.com and www.camonets.co.uk. My plan for July and August is to get more organised - June has been a busy old mess! - 120 Project - Coming Soon! Also planned for the next month or two is the 120 Project which is an idea I've had for a while to help me focus on more creative works such as music, painting, animation and film. The 120 being simply 2 hours I set aside for personal work each week. Every month (-ish) I'll post my progress on the new site www.120project.co.uk and possibly a Myspace page for the music - I'm hoping this will help me focus some of my time on specific music / art projects rather than just doing the odd doodle here and tinkle there. Talking of doodles - yes Andy, that illustration will be on the way!!! (and yes you're absolutely right, it's not a good idea to set yourself deadlines!).

William in Pink! Louise will be reading this thinking 'he hasn't mentioned the kittens once....' - I'm sure some people just read the blog for the kitten photos (you know who you are!) - so to whet your appetite here's the boy and girl (Willypops and Keeleypops) being dressed as little people (I hope that this doesn't look like animal cruelty) they signed the consent forms and everything! - (well they ate the pouches)

Other news at Pedley Towers - it's been a bad month for things going wrong (perhaps bad karma for dressing up defenceless kittens?) - the conservatory has started leaking, the cooker hob has conked out, and the washing machine is leaking again! - and I'm not going to even talk about my mobile phone switching itself off!! - Almost forgot to mention our lovely trip back to Brighton in June (thanks again to Hotel Hodgson for putting us up xx). I think that's all for now.....is that the kettle I hear in the background?
25th May 2009 Take me to the top of the page!Naughty Mac sent to Bootcamp! - Louise rejoices new addition to her office!
Welcome to the latest Blog Update! - Yes regular blog watchers (you know who you both are) - you will have received your notification email to say it's online - click here if you want to share the joy of Pedley Blog Alerts!
Pedley Holiday 2009 It's been another busy month here at Pedley Towers - We've had a nice holiday to Cornwall (special thank you to Aunty Jo and Uncle Brian) - Unfortunately I think we took the Bromsgrove weather with us! - but it was great to have a break.....I think Lou enjoyed me not talking about websites and work for a whole week. On returning we discovered Keeley had mistaken the cream rug in the lounge as the new cat tray...clever Kitten (I think she gets that from the Smalls...only joking of course). Other news this month - The Pedley iMac is now the Pedley Mac-PC - installed Bootcamp which transforms the Mac into a PC - Lou was quick to point out that we've paid a lot of money for what is essentially a PC with a nice screen. Rest assured the iMac will be back soon! - Staying on the subject of technology, our new printer arrived this week. Louise came home from work to find what she describes as a 'Space Shuttle' in her office...(not a very accurate description - the space shuttle is white and has wings) - I did try to sit the printer in my room, but it was too big and I couldn't find a place where it would be easily accessible. Louise accused me of not wanting it in my room because it was big, clunky and grey - (I can't believe she'd think I'd be that shallow) - I'd love to have that ugly grey box in my room but unfortunately it doesn't fit.....I did try to calm things down by suggesting we compromise and put it in the lounge! - Not good....

Other Pedley News - started a couple of large new web projects this month - the re-design of the North Laine web site in Brighton - this is going to be a huge job, and take approximately 2 months to complete. Also the intergration of a new shipping cart to the U.S. Kids Army Store web site. A couple of new websites online this month include - Bromsgrove based Pat's Pig Roasters and the Midlands serving A-Force Couriers - More details in the News and Updates Section.

Last but not least, we just want to say a big thank you to Steve for fixing our lights! - Toodle Poos - Bx
3rd April 2009 Take me to the top of the page!"I'm back and it's ready - it's the all NEW Pedleyonline!"
It's here, 3 months late, and millions of pounds over budget, it's the all NEW Pedleyonline! As promised we're now 960 pixels wide - (even more space to fill with waffle). I've updated the web design pages - now showing all 36 websites (and growing) we look after. We also have the Pedley Shop - buy Pedley artwork online using PayPal. Our brand new online design service - the imaginatively titled Pedleyonlinedesign - We now offer a complete design solution for your business! The computer animation section now uses Flash Video for instant access to the films. It's Snowing at Pedley Towers - view video!Even the humble Pedleyblog has been updated, now including video! - I've put up a little film that was supposed to go on last months blog - 'Snow at Pedley Towers' ( Lou, if you think this is boring, would you rather I put up the crisp incident video? - click here if you think I should put up that video! ). Okay, that's enough about the new look Pedleyonline....Other news, Lou and her new big telly!Louise has taken up the role as my second in command (there's only two of us) - taking on invoicing, looking after the folders, updating and tea making. Lou has now got her own posh big screen to help with her web design training (regular blog watchers will remember all the fuss when I needed a new screen)....I'm saying nothing. I've cut my hours down at the print shop, now doing just 6 hours a week (it's a hard life!) to concentrate on the web design....Almost forgot, did I mention I got the Mac? - Lou now refers to me as Mr "show off knickers" every time I mention it....but it is lovely........(now I just need to learn how to use it!) - For the latest websites and artwork updates go to the news / updates bit!
1st January 2009 Take me to the top of the page!Promises, Promises, Promises....
Work has begun on the all new pedleyonline - I say started as I was hoping it would be finished for January, but as always personal Pedley projects take the back seat to paying customers! - and now with a Xbox360 to support (thanks to my darling Lou) that paid work is even more important than ever! - Okay, so what's the new pedleyonline all about? - Visit the Pedley Shop!First off it's going to be bigger, moving from 760 pixels to 960 pixels wide.
For the first time ever you'll be able to buy pedley artwork direct from the website! - There'll be a brand new pedleyonline design section and the whole web design bit is having a makeover. Plus of course all the old gubbins will be back on there. The hope is the new all singing and dancing pedleyonline will be up and running for the beginning of February but I do have a very hectic January ahead so we shall see.....Ok what else has happened since the last update? - The Pedley Garden December 2008Great News - The Pedley Garden is finished! - Class Landscapes finished the job on Xmas Eve - (special thank you to Chris and his Dad for working their socks off to get it completed before Christmas). It's very much a blank canvas at the moment but we're looking forward to digging and planting stuff soon. Finished the illustration I talked about in the last update for the brilliant A J Maddicott - click here to view - hopefully more are to follow in January. Louise has started her training as the first pedleyonline employee! - (employee suggests she's getting paid......"Lou there's some good news and some bad news..."). As it's New Year it's time for the old (I mean NEW) Years Resolutions - 1. Lose at least 4lbs, the double chin, and eat more fruit and less Wagon Wheels. 2. Find time to paint and make music! - (and play Xbox) 3. Drink less tea...(I guess drinking more coffee doesn't count) 4. Get more organised....
5. Buy the MAC! - we can live in hope...
and on that note I wish everyone a very Happy New Year and Best of Luck for 2009. One final update this month to blog watchers and fine New Year Party hosts - Steve and Jo - Thank You for a FAB night it was great - we're still recovering!
17th Nov 2008 Take me to the top of the page!"It's like Christmas has come early...."
It will seem like that for some eager pedley blog watchers who've had to wait almost 2 months for some Pedley news. Drum Roll - It's the snappily titled "Bumper November Pedley Blog Update!" - Good Afternoon from a wet, cold and miserable Bromsgrove... Loads of new projects completed this month including my early ventures into e-commerce web sites. First one up is Kids Army Shop - www.kidsarmyshop.co.uk (yes, I know I mentioned this in the last update, but this time there's a picture!) - a website for selling Children's Army Clothes for Bromsgrove based supplier.
Badass Badges Site Designed by Pedleyonline Kidsarmyshop.co.uk - designed by pedleyonline
Also online is badassbadges.co.uk - not surprisingly a website selling badges! - some pretty offensive, rude and funny badges here, including 'you smell of poo' - one of my favourites (I can't wait to see Lou's face on Xmas morning.....though it probably wont be much of a surprise now). Blog Note - Lou doesn't really smell of poo....well not too much. Anyway, back to the website action - also online are www.sand-bags.co.uk - yep selling sandbags! www.topgunfancydress.co.uk - yep selling Top Gun Fancy Dress! - and finally www.armyfancydress.co.uk - I'm not going to even say it... Still on the work front, I've had a new illustration commission working with a brilliant author on some atmospheric visualisations for his new book (or 'sketches' to the non-artists out there...only joking you must be creative arty types to be reading the pedley blog in the first place - or very very bored). Okay, that's enough about work, so what's been happening at Pedley Towers? - Good Question. William and the Digger October 2008Work has commenced on the garden, but progress has been hampered by our gardener chap being run over (luckily it was just off our property so I don't think we're liable!) and the terrible wet weather (it never rains in Brighton). Also poorly this month was William (it was nearly a one way trip to the vet for the little beggar)..think he'd eaten something he shouldn't = £150+ Vet Bill!!!! - if he'd crossed the £200 mark - I'd be talking about the exciting news of our new kitten. Other news this month we're off to Brighton! - It's been over 6 months since our last visit. Gadget News - The Apple Mac is becoming more of a reality -Yes, I used to work for PC World! I went into PC World to the I-macs and actually used the mouse! - normally I just stand there and look at it. (drives Lou mad) I'm always frightened someone's going to come over and try to sell me something or I'll look stupid for not knowing how to use the mouse. I'm the same in music shops, I just look at the keyboards, not going anywhere near - in fear of being exposed as a one finger maestro - "go on play us something..." . Wish List Update - The new music computer is a way off, as is the PS3 and the laptop and......Geeky News - I now have a subscription to Sci-Fi Now magazine - which is fab......as always the blog ends on a high note! Kidsarmyshop.co.uk - designed by pedleyonline Badass Badges Site Designed by Pedleyonline Sand-bags.co.uk designed by pedleyonline
28th Sept 2008 Take me to the top of the page!Photoshopping Your Own Birthday Cake
The Pedley Blog is 1!It's 6.30am on a Sunday morning, I have male flu (Lou says it called Man Flu?), I'm drinking a Lemsip and photoshopping myself a birthday cake for my blog...(its only when you write it down you realise just how sad that sounds)...It's even sadder when you realise it's taken me 2 hours and it still looks rubbish! - (If you're going to make up an imaginary cake atleast make it a good looking tasty one - I think the same rule applies to imaginary girlfriends)...not something I would know anything about of course. Yes, it really has been a whole year since the pedley blog was launched, as if you didn't know blog watchers. On the web front two more web sites go live this month, www.kidsarmyshop.co.uk - my first venture into a e-commerce websites and Install-a-Floor - www.bromsgroveflooring.co.uk for a local Bromsgrove business. October is shaping up to be a busy one, with three new projects commencing this month...more about those in the next update....Louise has just read the blog and said it was dull, I think everyone realised that ages ago!
21st Aug 2008 Take me to the top of the page! You'll never see Kittens on my website!
I didn't think the day would ever come when I would be putting pictures of William and Keeley (our kittens) on the website - unfortunately that day has arrived. First off these aren't kittens, but rather pesky old cats. William is a nasty little bully and Keeley is a needy whiney stomach on legs. Enjoy your 10 seconds of fame kittens - but be warned stinky cats - there are nicer, younger, better behaved kittens out there just itching to take your place! - I don't know why I'm threatening the kittens through the blog, even if they could understand English, I'm sure they wouldn't waste their time reading my gibberish. Anyways back to the pedleyblog update! - Another busy month on the old websites - armaglazewindows.co.uk is now online, as is the website for Chris Clark Plant Services - clarkplant.co.uk. The MPS Secuirty website is almost complete - mpssecurity.co.uk - just a last few tweaks. Bacchus Restaurant Bromsgrove - bacchusbromsgrove.co.uk now has a holding page. Also started work on a couple of new projects which I'll hopefully have more to tell you about in the next update. Almost forgot - I got some new spectacles! William - aka Willypops! Keeley - aka Keeleypops!
29th July 2008 Take me to the top of the page! The Future's Bright the Future's Pedleyonline
Pedley Beard - May It Rest In PeacePedleyonline has been having a makeover! - this month I've been revamping the web design section of the site, adding FAQs, prices, a pedley guide to getting a website and a new portfolio section (that's not exactly true - pedley watchers will know its the same old portfolio page with a new heading...( a classic case of pedley palming off old work as new )....Louise asks why I haven't mentioned Orange Wednesday on the site? - could there be some cheekiness going on? Anyways hope you like the new look? Talking of new looks - the pedley beard is no more.... I cut it a little too short on one side, then I made a slight adjustment on the other side, several adjustments later it had to be humanely removed...If you're still reading this, you're probably thinking pedley is padding it out more than usual this month - could it be he's been a lazy boy and not doing a lot? - Of course not! - I've been a busy little bee working away on several new sites which should be coming online over the coming weeks....including the Armaglaze website, Bacchus Restaurant, MPS Security. Happy Anniversary Mum & Dad!
28th June 2008 Take me to the top of the page!Pedley grows a silly little beard
Cornwall 2008 Pictures! Holiday Lambkins! Beautiful Cornwall Louise on the beach bearded bafoon Just in the nick of time, it's the pedley blog update! - Not sure if the beard will make it to next Month but it's here for now - Lou has tried her best in the past to put me off growing one, saying I look like Noel Edmonds, Jeremy Beadle or more shockingly the Yorkshire Ripper! (not the look I was going for). Usually it's the itchiness that has me running for the shaver.
Other news - we managed to get away for a week the middle of June to lovely Cornwall (a special thank you to Aunty Jo and Uncle Brian for letting us stay at the bungalow). Caught up with old friends Mrs P.P. and Mr PS2 (Hello!) for some drinkys - I think someone may have had a little too much to drink and was sick (I blame the hot weather and my amazing intolerance to alcohol). Weather was great, very relaxing. Did miss my computer, now safely reunited - On the work front have finished two new web projects - www.manhattanstyles.com and www.artistfolio.co.uk. Also started a new website for construction company Ellis Construction Services - (another one from the pedley flyer!). That's about all for now...oops, almost forgot hello Colesy - I will reply to your e-mail!
26th May 2008 Take me to the top of the page!Work Work Work Work Work
Started work on two new web projects this month, Manhattan Styles Nails Bar in Bromsgrove and Armaglaze Windows of Solihull. Work also continues on Artistfolio and DP Designs - hope to have these both up and running the beginning of June. Added new work and tabbed galleries to jamesdibiase.co.uk (Hello Mr Jim Bob!) - Check out his new beardy photographs (below). DP Designs new website David Downes Web Updates Beardy Weirdys! - New DiBiase Photos! New work and Press gallery added to Artist David Downes website....exhibiting in New York - June 2008! (hopefully my cheque is in the post?). Other News - Off on hols mid June. Plans begin for the Pedley Garden - once Louise and I can agree on patio stones....Pedley Paintings - not a chance this month, even struggling to find time to make Tea! - Started very early hints to Lou that I need to get a Mac + click here to sign the 'Pedley needs a Mac' Petition.
30th April 2008 Take me to the top of the page!New 24" Telly and Trouble for Pedleyonline
Pedley On Tour 2008!'Better late than never'....it's the April Pedley Blog Update! - Been a busy old Month.Travelled back to lovely Brighton with Louise the beginning of April, it was great to see the old gang, few drinkypoos...and to sit on the pebbles! - Thanks to Ian & Jenette, Guy, Tracey and Ben for putting us up. Sadly I've had to put the driving lessons on hold at the moment, mainly because I'm absolutely rubbish (really really bad) and even my driving instructor said "some people are just not meant to drive" - I think she meant it in a nice way. Other sad news, my old Xerox monitor finally conked out last week (unfortunately this time the fault wasn't covered by the warranty) but every cloud has a silver lining and I now have a shiny new 24" one (screen..). Louise's none too pleased as she said a 22" one would have been fine. New Fascia Fascia Website! The "think of all the extra work and money I'll earn with my bigger telly" arguement fell on to deaf ears. But I did make Lou a nice birthday card (which she seems to think looks very similar to the last one!)..will have my work cut out for me to right the wrongs of the big screen. Anyways! - onto the actual work, finished the new website for Fascia Fascia, www.fasciasbromsgrove.co.uk a local Bromsgrove business (he saw my new flyer!). DP Designs' website is now up and running, but I'll save the details of that for the next update as there's not much there at the moment. Also work continues on the collaborative project with Julian SB - Artistfolio which should also be up and running early May. What about those New Pedley Paintings you ask? - coming soon! honest Bx
22nd Mar 2008 Take me to the top of the page!Update Pedley Blog you lazy tea swilling b'stard!
The Pedley Web Design Flyer! From the internet came these lovely kind words of encouragement, an eager pedley blog watcher desperate for more! (a very rare breed indeed)...Apologies (again) for the delay between updates... For those not fortunate enough to have seen the pedley flyer - here it is in all its glory. Pleased to report that the flyer has already generated some new work - I start work this week on a new website for a local business here in Bromsgrove. More details to follow in the next update. Glad to report eastbourneandbred.co.uk is now up and running. Also commenced work on another collaborative project with designer Julian SB. Had a great result with the faulty Canon camera - it turns out the fault was common with this model of camera and they replaced it with a brand new camera - despite it being over 3 years old and out of warranty! - The pictures of the paintings will follow very shortly once I work out how to use it and get it back from Miss 'E-bay photographer' Small. Driving lesson update - reached 3rd gear! ...but progress has been slow....practicing between lessons on the Xbox has produced mixed results. Good News on the Easter Egg front - Pedley 2 : Louise 0 ....I'm making the ultimate sacrifice and scoffing her egg!
20th Feb 2008 Take me to the top of the page!Finished my sign and flyers!
Is it already February!!? - Work is moving along nicely - couple of new web projects starting this month - DP Designs website for David Perry and Eastbourne and Bred (Another website for designer Julian SB.) Spent most of Jan and early Feb updating Artists on the Eastbourne Artists Open Houses website...nearly finished that one - check out www.eastbourneartists.co.uk some really good work being exhibited. Valentine Card in all its soppy glory! Finally finished my sign to go up in the shop
(I can cross that off my list of New Year Resolutions!) Also produced some web design handouts and flyers - lets hope I don't find them scattered around Bromsgrove...Driving Lessons continue, I've managed to get to 2nd gear, and use the indicators. Paintings, Paintings, Paintings - I would have some photos of the new work, but my trusty Canon IXUS conked out...I did initially blame Louise as she borrowed it for some Ebay photos...but it looks like she's in the clear. Not that I'll be letting her near the new one! - I've just been told I can't have a new one, so I mean when I get this one repaired. On a romantic note I did a little card for a special someone..... (yes, I know I should have been doing my work!) That's about all for now - more updates soon!
14th Jan 2008 Take me to the top of the page!New Paintings & New Year Resolutions
New Pedley Paintings - January 2008First off, Happy New Year! - Our first Christmas together at the new Pedley Towers started off well, until I fell down the stairs at my parents in Essex (and no I wasn't drunk!) and I caught a horrible nasty cold. Louise pretended to have a cold only so she could eat my Lockets (I had to keep reminding her they were medicine and not tasty sweets). But glad to report all better now...(no escaping the 2008 D.I.Y. projects for me!). New Year, new resolutions - (I wonder how many of these will be carried through?) - Drink more water and less tea, learn to drive! - get painting and making music - get the website sign up in the shop, sort out my TAX, start exhibiting my paintings again. More doing and less making lists about doing....blah blah blah! Well it's almost two weeks into the new year and wait for it......New Pedley Paintings! - or should I say the start of 4 new paintings.
I plan to keep a painting diary (or painting blog) recording the progress of the new work, maybe adding some videos of the work in progress (can you see what it is yet?) - Have also been busy sorting through my synthesizers, my pedley samples and soft synths to start some new music! - better go, work to do....and the kettle's boiling!
12th Nov 2007 Take me to the top of the page!Big plans in little pedleyland
Pedley Painting Area and EaselI don't think I've quite got the hang of this blog thingy - the plan was to update this every week, not once every 2 months! - Anyways. Updates there are! - Painting area is now complete (see picture to the right) Hope to start new painting(s) over the next two weeks, I say 'hope' as my life seems to be ruled by nasty decorating, which I'm pleased to advise is almost over. Two new web projects are underway, the first of which 'Handyprint' will be online this month. Computer has been misbehaving terribly despite being built by the Computer Wizard - (you know who you are!) - New computer on order this week. Louise is on at me again about learning to drive. Lessons planned for early December.
18th Sept 2007 Take me to the top of the page!Proposal Accepted!
Quicky update - The Easel is down from the loft and in position! - Good NEWS, the web proposal was accepted so I'll be working on this new site over the coming 4 weeks. Hope to have this online the middle of October (more like November!?)
5th Sept 2007 Take me to the top of the page! The Painting Area is almost ready!
Its been a fair old while (over 7 months) but the decorating is almost complete at Pedley Towers, I say almost, probably still another 2 good months work till everything is finished; but hoping in a few weeks I'll be able to start painting again. My new painting area is almost ready! Brush the dust of the old paint brushes, get the creative juices flowing and start making a lovely mess! - Also this month started work on a proposal for a new web project which, fingers crossed, should start middle of September. Oh and we're off on our hols!
21st Aug 2007 Take me to the top of the page! The pedleyblog is born
Not a cup of tea - honestI've had the idea of doing this for a while, the plan is I'll update this page on a regular basis, more for myself than anyone else. Help keep my life in some kind of order and help me focus some of my ideas and get some feedback on my work - a man is not an island - or something like that. But the main reason is to keep Louise off my back, as she thinks I sit around all day drinking tea....
